日本で活動するメロディックメタルバンドです。通称「あんきも」として多くのファンに親しまれています。ボーカル、ツインギター、ベース、ドラムに加え、ヴァイオリンを含む6人組というユニークな編成が特徴です。元々は同人音楽プロジェクトとして、東方Projectのアレンジやアニメソングのメタルアレンジを中心に活動を開始しましたが、次第にオリジナル楽曲制作へとシフトし、現在の強固なバンド体制を確立しました。メンバー各々の高い演奏技術と、メタルを基盤としながらもゲーム音楽やアニメソングからの影響を柔軟に取り入れた音楽性で、国内外から注目を集めています。
This is a melodic metal band active in Japan, affectionately known as "Ankimo" by many fans. They are characterized by their unique six-member lineup consisting of vocals, twin guitars, bass, drums, and violin. Originally starting as a doujin music project focused on arranging Touhou Project songs and anime songs in a metal style, they gradually shifted towards original song production and established their current solid band structure. Their high level of musicianship from each member and their musicality, which is based in metal yet flexibly incorporates influences from game music and anime songs, has garnered attention both domestically and internationally.
