The melodic death metal band RYUJIN was formed in 2009 and was known as GYZE from 2011 to January 2023. They are characterized by their fast picking, heavy riffs, beautiful melodies, and powerful vocals. In recent years, they have been releasing songs that emphasize Japanese aesthetics by incorporating elements of traditional Japanese music such as gagaku. With a high reputation overseas and active activities, they are one of the leading bands in the Japanese metal scene.
